Both Front-Wheel Drive (FWD) and All-Wheel Drive (AWD) configurations are expected, with the AWD version potentially delivering up to 252 kW (around 343 DIN hp) and a brisk 0-100 km/h acceleration in approximately 5.2 seconds.

  • U.S. Market: The C-HR BEV is expected to feature a 74.7 kWh battery, with a manufacturer-estimated range of around 290 miles (likely based on the EPA cycle). This version is slated to come with standard All-Wheel Drive, producing around 338 horsepower and achieving 0-60 mph in roughly 5 seconds.

Charging capabilities will be competitive, with DC fast charging at up to 150 kW allowing for a 10-80% charge in about 30 minutes under optimal conditions. AC charging options will include 11 kW (and potentially 22 kW in Europe) onboard chargers. Notably, the U.S. model will feature a North American Charging System (NACS) port, enabling access to Tesla's Supercharger network. Features like battery pre-conditioning will help optimize charging times, especially in colder weather.

Advanced Technology and Safety

The Toyota C-HR+ will be equipped with a comprehensive suite of advanced technologies. The latest Toyota Safety Sense package will offer a range of driver assistance systems to enhance safety and convenience.
